Congress of the PRE

Congress of the PRE (European Federation of Refractory Manufacturers PRE in Trieste (Italy). During the Congress, among others, a panel debate was held on global problems in the refractory industry, attended by Carol Jackson (president of Harbison Walker International), Patric Andre (president of Vesuvius), Rainer Gaebel (director of Refratechnik) and as moderator Joerg Sitzenfrey (president of Rath AG). The problems of restrictions in international trade, the impact of industry on the environment and the raw materials situation were discussed. : BREF, closed-cycle economy and work safety in plants.Moreover, the work of the Technical Committee of PRE, the World Association of Refractory Materials WRA and statistics of the refractory industry for 2018 were discussed.
