This year, Zakłady Magnezytowe Ropczyce S.A. is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and on October 17th a commemorative Jubilee Gala was held. Attending the event, SPMO President Tomasz Biliński extended congratulations and wishes for further development to the company’s President Józef Siwiec, and the Board members.
It should be emphasized that ZM Ropczyce is a very modern plant, employing over 750 people, with its own Research and Development Center and a strong position in both the domestic and international markets; more than 60% of its production value is exported. An important aspect of its operations is pro-climate investments, which this year were highly valued in the European arena, earning the second prize in the competition of the European Federation of Refractory Manufacturers PRE for eco-friendly solutions.
